May 18 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

What does forest management for the birds look like? Join Tim Duclos, Audubon Vermont’s Forest Program Senior Associate, for a walk through a forestry project at Merck Forest and Farmland Center tailored to increase habitat for birds and the forest’s resilience to climate change. We’ll wend our way along the Discovery and  McCormick trails, practicing bird identification skills and discussing strategies which landowners can apply to promote bird habitat on their property.

This walk is presented in collaboration with Vermont Woodlands Association as part of their Climate Smart Forestry Program Series.

This workshop is free, but pre-registration is necessary, since participation is limited to 20 people; register on the Audubon Website.
