Stay & Connect

Experience the magic of Merck Forest & Farmland Center through an immersive overnight stay. Our rustic accommodations place you in the heart of our 3,500-acre working landscape, where the sounds of nature replace the noise of everyday life and the star-filled night sky becomes your evening entertainment.

Cabins

Each cabin provides shelter with basic comforts: a wood stove (winter firewood provided), igloo cooler for food, and nearby outhouse. Many feature extras like rocking chairs, porches, fire pits, or views. Check each cabin's description for specific amenities when booking.

Shelters

Our lean-to shelters feature three walls and a roof with an open front facing the forest. Each includes a wooden floor for sleeping or tent setup, a fire ring, and a nearby outhouse—offering a simple middle ground between cabin amenities and tent camping.

Dispersed Camping

For experienced backpackers only, these permit-required sites ($5 per person per night) follow strict Leave No Trace principles with no fires, no facilities, and a requirement to camp at least 200 feet from trails, water sources, and structures—the purest wilderness experience we offer.
