Group Programs & Stewardship Projects
Care for and learn about the land. Bring your group for a program rooted in real work like monitoring wildlife, stacking wood, caring for our farm animals, or reading the forest. This is hands-on learning in a landscape that has much to teach.
Place-Based Programs at Merck Forest
Our group programs and stewardship opportunities draw from the work we do here: managing trails, caring for animals, monitoring species, harvesting timber, tending gardens and orchards. Your group participates in that work not as observers, but as contributors. What you do here will impact this landscape, and stay with you long after you leave.

What you will experience

Hands-on learning and skill-building with interactive activities
Expert field educators with specialized training in outdoor education and place-based learning
