A New Front Door to Our Digital Home

Eight years ago, we launched a website that served us well. The land kept changing. Our programs grew. Our understanding of this place deepened. The website stayed the same.

This year — our 75th — felt like the right moment to change that.

We worked with LONDONmiddlebury, a Vermont-based design agency, to build something that reflects who Merck Forest is today: a living classroom on a landscape of global significance, open to everyone, doing work that matters beyond these 3,644 acres.

The new site provides trail maps, program information, an events calendar, and many ways to support the work. It's designed to help first-time visitors understand what this place is and why it's worth showing up for.
