From Tree to Cutting Board includes a tour of an active timber site, a discussion on the benefits of active forest management, and a chance to craft your own cutting board from wood harvested at Merck Forest. Learn how active forest management enhances biodiversity, structural diversity, and the overall health of our forests while supporting sustainable timber production. Create a unique piece for your kitchen and enjoy hors d'oeuvres with fellow participants as you celebrate the journey of this event. This event is presented in collaboration with the Manchester Community Library.
