About the event
Step off the beaten path and into the wonders of the natural world. Our Tracking Hikes offer an immersive experience for anyone curious about the hidden stories the forest holds beneath the snow. Led by certified MFFC Field Educator, Wildlife Tracker, and Sign Interpreter AJ Brundige, participants will learn to identify and interpret the subtle signs animals leave behind - tracks, scat, markings, and other clues that reveal how wildlife moves, hunts, and survives during the winter months.
Whether you’re a seasoned outdoor enthusiast or simply curious about winter’s secrets, these guided hikes transform a simple walk in the woods into a hands-on lesson in observation, patience, and discovery. Join us to connect deeply with the wildlife around us, uncover the hidden narratives in the forest, and experience the quiet beauty of winter in all its detail.
