The Mountain Goat Trail Run
Lace 'em up and head for the hills! Choose the 8.5-miler or the 1-mile Family Fun Run around the farm! Hosted by Manchester, Vermont's The Mountain Goat, with proceeds to benefit Merck Forest's education and stewardship programs.

About the event
The Mountain Goat Trail Run is a beautiful and challenging 8.5-mile loop through Merck Forest trails with ~1,800 ft of climbing.
The Route: Start at the Sap House, cruise up to the Ski Trail, climbing to Mt Antone's summit to get a high five from our great volunteers. Take in the view before heading down Masters Mountain Trail to the Hidden Valley Road junction. Continue east, past Clark Hollow, up the forest road to the Glen for a short climb before heading back down to the farm to finish where you began! The kids' run is a fun ~1-mile loop surrounding the farm. Parents are welcome to run with kids!
