Second Saturdays at Manchester Community Library

Fall animal migration has started! From late August through November, animals of many species are on the move to warmer places for the winter. “Migrate” your way to the library to move through a migration obstacle course! Pick your animal player and see for yourself what it’s like for small animals to migrate long distances. When you’re done, borrow a book from the table for a self-guided story time.

Merck Forest & Farmland Center holds Second Saturday programs each month at the Manchester Community Library. MFFC field educators provide seasonally themed environmental science learning and facilitate exciting and hands-on nature-based activities. Programs are designed for kids ages 6 and up.
