Second Saturdays with Merck Forest & Farmland Center

Bugs: they buzz by your ear, hop through the grass, leave a trail of slime on a log, and tunnel under the forest floor. Join us for Second Saturdays this month to explore the tiny wonders living all around us! Search for bugs in the library yard, examine a rotting log, and use magnifying lenses to see what you can unearth.

Merck Forest & Farmland Center holds Second Saturday programs each month at the Manchester Community Library. MFFC field educators provide seasonally themed environmental science learning and facilitate exciting and hands-on nature-based activities. Programs are designed for kids ages 6 and up.
