About the event
Join Shaftsbury, Vermont-based sculptor Lee Williams to make a wood sculpture at Merck Forest & Farmland Center. Draw inspiration from the backdrop of dazzling foliage, walk the trails to collect material, and create sculpture using wood sourced from the forest floor. Arrive early or stay after to catch one of our Fall Foliage Wagon Rides, running hourly from 11am through 2pm, $5 per person.
This event has been made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read. NEA Big Read—a partnership with Arts Midwest—broadens our understanding of ourselves and our neighbors through the power of a shared reading experience.
