Welcome to a new (to us) kind of product:

Online Presentations on a variety of topics — no social distancing required!

Join Tim Duclos, MFFC’s Conservation Manager, for an hour-long exploration of vernal pool amphibians at Merck Forest. To prime you for this in-person foray, on 3/20 we will release to all registrants a pre-recorded presentation focused on native amphibians and their breeding habits in woodland vernal pools. We’ll explore what defines a vernal pool and why these unique and sensitive habitats are vital to a particular group of migratory amphibians. We’ll discuss ways in which you can participate in citizen science by monitoring amphibians at vernal pools and road crossings where these species can be found during “Big Nights.”
