Owl Program NEW FORMAT!!

February 27

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until March 26, 2021

We have a new ONLINE format for our popular Owl Presentation and Hike:

Join Conservation manager Tim Duclos for a pre-recorded presentation focused on the various owls in our region. Tim is a published ecologist whose expertise includes the effects of climate change upon avian ecology.  He will describe the owl species whooo occupy our region, their adaptive strategies, ecology, and behaviors. He will describe the natural history of our resident owls; covering how to identify owls by sight and sound as well as where and how you might find these formidable creatures in nature.

In addition, Tim will discuss citizen science tools such as iNaturalist and eBird, tools that will enable you to both share your findings as well as keep up with the findings of others around you and from your social network.

Fee: $10; Register HERE for the online program.
