Game of Logging: Levels 1 & 2 (Coed)

Game of Logging Chainsaw Safety courses: Levels 1 & 2

Level 1 focuses on precision felling techniques, Level 2 focuses on maximizing saw performance. Level 1 is required before taking Level 2. Preference will be given to those registering for both Level 1 & 2 together. Participants must bring their own PPE, including a safety helmet with face shield, eye and ear protection, and chaps, as well as lunch, water, and snacks for the day. Registration is required and space is limited. Minimum age is 18 yo. Register HERE for both classes. (People signing up for ONLY Level 1 will be placed on a wait list to avoid having Level 1 fill at the loss of Level 2 participants. Single levels will be opened up 7 – 10 days prior to start date, if available. Participants have the optional of camping on the house site at no charge. Tuition for Levels 1 and 2 is $440 / person. (Tuition for a single session is $220pp) Saturday, May 20th, from 8am – 4pm (Level 1) and Sunday, May 21, from 8am – 4pm (Level 2).

Cancellation up to 10 days prior to the program will incur a $20 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the program will not be refunded, unless we are able to fill your spot, in which case you wil receive a full refund, less a $20 administrative fee. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather. If a program is postponed due to extreme weather (a very rare occurence), participants are expected to attend the program on the rescheduled date. Should Merck Forest cancel the program due to unforeseen circumstances, and the program is not rescheduled, a full refund will be issued.
